Founded in 1884, Peacocks was known as Penny Bazaar and was launched by Albert Frank Peacock in Cheshire. A true Victorian Penny Bazaar, it sold anything and everything, and Albert’s principle of value helped Peacocks develop a successful business that continued to grow throughout the twentieth century.
Peacocks today has developed into a leading high street and online fashion retailer focused on quality and value for all the family and has 350 stores in the UK.
